Reading the discussions about the second coming of Jesus Christ both excites and terrifies me.

In the October 2024 sessions of general conference, eight of the newest additions to the global hymnbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were sung: 

God’s Gracious Love 
Gethsemane 
Holding Hands Around the World 
When the Savior Comes Again 
I Will Walk with Jesus 
Come, Lord Jesus 
My Shepherd Will Supply My Need 
Think a Sacred Song 

These songs were performed by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, a children’s choir and a missionary choir from Northern Utah. 

In 2024, a total of 22 hymns were released as part of the new global hymnbook “Hymns—For Home and Church.” 

More songs will continue to be released in batches every few months until the release of the full hymnbook in several languages in 2026.
