The GIFA was founded by the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) to ensure alternative financing for Gauteng’s provincial and municipal infrastructure projects.
Today DID is hosting its inaugural Property Management Workshop, bringing together DID management, GIFA, COGTA and property management stakeholders to strengthen the management of Gauteng’s public assets.
The workshop provides a platform to reflect on progress in managing provincial immovable assets, share best practices and identify practical solutions to strengthen property management. Discussions focus on innovation, sustainable maintenance, good governance and unlocking the value of underutilised properties to drive economic growth and inclusive development.
