"We're going to give this justice", says the host, who finally stops wittering on and goes to the medal ceremony 2 seconds before the English swimmer gets his medal. When the BBC show sport, I'm glad. When it's #TNTSports (free on HBO Max), I try to endure it. #commonwealthgames
@networkrail@GMonaha Why can't Network Rail weed until they have a stranger's details? I know the system demands it, but there shouldn't be irrelevant hoops to jump through before a job can be logged. Do you ignore reports of bridge strikes from people why don't give their inside leg measurements?
@mrdanwalker I just read the first one and found a new person to block out of my life. They can't stand anyone who's different from them. I'm sure they hate themselves and are bent on taking that out on everyone else.
I've seen a lot of pathetic acting and petulance in football, but Argentina have shown the world how brilliant they are at it. Bravo! I presume that's what they were aiming for. They certainly can't trust themselves to focus on football. #WorldCupFinal#WorldCup#Spain#Argentina
#NORENG It seems to me that when England go forwards they have a better chance of scoring than when they go sideways. It be worth trying that more often.
It's nice to see two teams playing football, rather than trying to trick the referee. No-one has thrown themselves to the ground, and there's no constant stream of spurious claims for the ball or of a foul. Living in Britain, I'm not used to this! #FRANOR#worldcup
I'm sure the only way to stop #Shearer criticising referees is for him to have a go, which is why he'll never stop. Even now, as the teams walk out, he said, out of the blue and without prompting or context, "there haven't been *too* many refereeing errors". #England
@HayesDean7246@mrdanwalker No doubt you want this little island back to how it was when our borders were closed and we welcomed no-one. Which was never. If you think Britain is great, that's why.
Anyway, I don't try to reason with the unreasonable. This was just for my benefit; so I'm not ignoring it.
@mrdanwalker I don't understand why all managers don't. A player's only job at that moment is to run and belt the ball. Trickery doesn't come into it. Only those who think they're wonderful and more important than the team do anything else.
The best argument anyone at TNT can come up with for an #Arsenal penalty is "we've seen them given". Yes, and they complained that they were. Now they're complaining that the referee isn't wrong. No-one can categorically say it's a penalty but they want the referee to. #PSGARS
