@TravelodgeUK I received this email. How is this fair? The hotel couldn’t honour the booking. Put a note on the system. Told me to call when customer service opened for a refund. Then I’m told this
@TravelodgeUK really disappointed by the service of the supposed manager at the kings cross travelodge, the room with AC that I’d booked wasn’t available on arrival and he basically shrugged and was totally unhelpful. Thankfully another of his colleagues was far more amenable.
@TravelodgeUK I don’t understand why I’ve been emailed to apologize for my room being hot. I paid for air conditioned room. The room wasn’t available when I arrived. They said I can contact and get a refund. Now I’m getting emails saying I should ask for a fan.
@JohnTelfer9084@TravelodgeUK That’s awful. I’m gonna be so mad if I don’t get a refund. They couldn’t honour my room. So we had to go elsewhere. The manager was rude too.

We didn’t want to stay and he said he couldn’t issue a refund and I had to call in the morning which is when I’d be in another country. I didn’t like how the “manager” spoke to our group. Hoping when I call for a refund I don’t spend ages on the phone as I’ll be on holiday
@dare_richard@TravelodgeUK I know. They couldn’t honour our booking and the guy just kept saying “I’ll give you a voucher for 50% off your next stay” I didn’t see how that helped us in that moment. Then he said he wasn’t talking to us anymore when we asked for how we got a refund.
20 years in and I can honestly say I still love teaching and can’t see myself doing anything else. It also helps that my school has been the best place to work
