Hello VFleet Community, I am writing this letter to inform you all of the status and future of GiGi-12. As many of you know GiGi has been absent due to health reasons. I am happy to say GiGi is doing much better and we all at VFleet are happy and relieved she is doing so! However, we do have some unfortunate news. After extended discussions with GiGi, she has decided that she would like to retire from Vtubing. GiGi is pursuing many new and exciting passions in this phase of her life and would like to focus on those. She started VTubing with VFleet Project to try out streaming and to aid in our mission of supporting Museum ships and Aerospace foundations, and enjoyed doing so for the time that she did! However, I think as is normal in life, seasons come and go, and GiGi’s season of life as a Vtuber is at a close. We know this news is heartbreaking to all of you, it is for us. However, we hope you all can understand that GiGi should be free to pursue what her heart is guiding her towards always, even if it means closing a season of life. Our staff and Talents all agree that GiGi needs to do what’s right for her and she has our support and sincerest gratitude 100%. We wish her great success in her future ventures! GiGi has decided not to host a graduation stream as it may be difficult for her as it is a sad event, she wants all of her sailors to continue to smile and have joy while watching VFleet streams. She wants you all to know she has loved getting to stream for you, laugh together, and duel together during her time in VFleet. I myself cannot thank GiGi enough for her time here. What was a small idea has grown greatly and GiGi had an important role in how far our team has come. I want my friend to follow her heart and do what she loves! While I am saddened like many of you, I think we should rejoice in the time we had with her as GiGi, and not despair because it is over. I thank you, GiGi, so much for all you have done, but also for being our friend. Fair winds and following seas shipmate, we have the watch. GiGi’s X and Twitch account will remain up as a memorial to her service in VFleet and her vods will remain on the VFleet Project Youtube page. The VFleet Project Website will also keep her Talent page up as an Alumni page to memorialize her graduation. From all of us at VFleet Project, thank you for supporting her! -VFleet Project CEO
