@Dappix_aB@ChronisterJason@pboozzee i don’t disagree with you, though do i disagree with raising the federal min wage to $15 - $20. certain states choose to increase min wage when the cost of living increases. we can definitely agree to disagree on this topic !!
@ChronisterJason@pboozzee i want to reiterate that a person may not live comfortable, but they will be living. i don’t disagree that $7.25 is low and that it should go up to some extent, but $15 nationwide is astronomical. we can agree to disagree though !!
@pboozzee@ChronisterJason i urge you to read this. considering the sources you gave were left leaning news sources i’ll give you an insight on a right winged standpoint. https://t.co/yU8udn8eDa
@ChronisterJason@pboozzee i hate to tell you that if min wage is increased to $15 by 2025 1.4 million jobs will be lost and goods and services will increase substantially. if you are having trouble comprehending that simple fact, simply look it up yourself and fact check me.
@pboozzee the whole point i’m trying to make here is that you can live and survive off of $7.25. if we raised everyone’s wages it would be the exact same as it is now and you’d think that $15-$20 would be too little. prices would raise everywhere.
@pboozzee ... the point i made was about min wage. my point still stands. the CEO of Hardee’s has degrees, skills, knowledge and a background in that business. he may make an absurd amount i don’t disagree w you there, but he did not get there overnight.
