All commodities reports have % demand for EVs rising in future years but I've found precious few that take into account that % of cobalt in EV batteries is forecasted to reduce massively, with Tesla aiming for 0% in their next gen.

@bobbyllew Why do EVs always get linked to terrible child labour in Congo Cobalt mines. 90% of all Cobalt mined last year was NOT used in EVs at all, but you never hear of consumer electronics or the metal industry getting blamed. Also, the % of cobalt in EV batteries is reducing fast.

@FunnyGir5 @mattwridley @AlistairHaimes Less than 10% of cobalt mined currently goes into EVs, the rest goes into consumer electronics and industrial processes like refining petrol to be low sulphur. So if you truly care about those kids stop driving and using modern technology.
