'Climate Capitalism,' a book by Akshat Rathi @AkshatRathi , underscores what I've long believed: capitalism, when channeled correctly, can indeed be a force for climate action.

Ultimately, it is our children and future generations who will bear the brunt of this crisis and have to envision new, more sustainable ways of living.

We have to show young people that they have a choice of what kind of world they want to live in.

There’s a way forward for oceanic restoration, and it hinges on restorative, profitable, aquaculture enterprises. I gave a whole TEDx Talk about it.
Below is a clip from “How to Restore Marine Ecosystems and Make a Profit from It”.

It’s a clear sign that the future of aquaculture lies in embracing technology to solve traditional challenges, heralding a new era where tech-driven solutions can lead to more sustainable and profitable aquaculture practices globally.

The ocean has everything we need to fight climate change. 🌊

But we must protect marine ecosystems  in order to capitalize on them.

There are some phenomena on Earth that we simply don’t have the language to describe. The Northern Lights are one of them.

To witness the auroras is to be humbled by the magic and immensity of our natural world. It’s the same feeling I get standing in front of the Ocean.

Climate change will touch every industry on Earth. It is not possible to be a responsible economist today without also having a clear understanding of the science of climate change.

Regenerative aquaculture enriches biodiversity, which creates more resilient ecosystems capable of withstanding and adapting to changing climates.

Here’s a fun look at @GreenWaveOrg's unique model for regenerative ocean farming. 👀👇

Any Japanese breakfast fans out there? (I’m talking about a traditional breakfast in Japan, of course, not the indie-rock group.)

This was one of my morning meals on a recent trip to Japan with the @urchinomics team. 👇

In a compelling interview with The New York Times, Dr. Hannah Ritchie posits a pragmatic approach to climate action that resonates deeply with my own perspective. 👇

There are many ocean-based climate solutions that are ready to implement NOW, such as scaling up ocean-based renewable energy and conserving and restoring marine ecosystems.

We had a blast sampling uni and meeting with our @urchinomics partners in Japan. What a great start to the year for @urchinomics and thrilling to watch as the company expands into new markets.

We need commercial (!) solutions for businesses to lower their emissions.

This is achievable. Profitable businesses that not only help to reduce the effects of global warming but also work to reverse the damage done to our planet's ecosystems are achievable. 🌎

[Giles Cadman @GilesCadman]

We need to rally behind young ecopreneurs like Gibran who are not just dreaming but actively building solutions that address our world's pressing needs. 🐟📈
