Brutalized by a system from top to bottom, many black men fear not only the police but the bigot on the bench. The bigot that draws conclusions based on stereotypes, conjecture and confirmation bias.

Our Fallen have sacrificed their futures for our freedoms.
Honor them not simply with words, but by living with purpose, protecting the freedoms they died defending, and supporting the families who carry their loss every day.
Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Their courage and selflessness secured the freedoms we enjoy every day. May we honor their memory not only with gratitude, but with a commitment to seek peace and recognize the heavy cost that war carries.
@Bmbempower We all have the power to effect change. Move your money to a black owned bank. Move your direct deposit to a black owned bank.

Yall remember Kylin Hill? This brother was a major turning point in the flag's removal. In June 2020, #MississippiStateUniversity running back Kylin Hill tweeted: "Either change the flag or I won't be representing this State anymore & I meant that .. I'm tired".
Hill, a #Mississippi native and one of the top rushers in the #SEC at the time, issued this threat directly in response to #Governor Tate Reeves' initial hesitation to support a new flag design. His stance sparked a massive wave of support
Pressure on #Leadership: His tweet went viral and put immediate pressure on state legislators and #university officials to take a definitive stand.
Widespread Support: Other athletes and coaches—including those from #OleMiss—publicly backed him, as did the SEC and #NCAA.
Resulting Change: Lawmakers passed the bill to retire the old flag just days after Hill's ultimatum. Hill was later honored by his hometown for his role in the historic change.
While Hill stayed and played for a portion of the 2020 season, his threat is widely credited with accelerating the legislative process to remove the Confederate emblem.
With the dismantling of the black voting rights in the South Black athletes in the SEC could really redistribute the pain with over $470 million!!!
Just saying…
@charise_lee Judges have the power to take your freedom, your children, and/or your life.
In Georgia, judges are NOT elected in November. They are elected during the primaries in May.

James Giles spent 10 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He is the 640th person exonerated on the @exonerationlist—one of 3,796 since 1989.
Thank you, James, for your courage, and @exonerationlist for being the source of truth. #innocenceconference https://t.co/PBRl2RriiF
🚨 BAD REFORM IS NO REFORM 🚨
HOA Lawyers & Property Mgmt Profiteers want to hijack SB406!
If it doesn’t:
✔️ Protect homeowners
✔️ Transparency
✔️ Stop abusive enforcement
…it’s not reform. It’s a talking point.
Good HOAs have nothing to fear.
Predatory HOAs everything to lose.
We are on deck of the general calendar. Insiders, Lawyers and Lobbyists are trying to water down the bill.
Gatekeepers of the bill are now Burns, Parrish & Efstration. Encourage all others to support the bill without watering it down. Be respectful, reason without passion.
There’s a pattern:
-Underfund higher-need/underserved schools
-Label them “under-enrolled”
-Use that as justification to reallocate resources
How are decisions made—and who benefits?

“They got money for wars, but can’t feed the poor.” — Tupac said it years ago… and here we are.
The Pentagon is now asking for an additional $200 BILLION for this war.
We always find the money for war.
But when it comes to housing, healthcare, or feeding people? Suddenly it’s crickets.
