When people humbly pleaded with a senior so-called Shia officer in the district administration not to stop the guests, explaining that they had lovingly prepared food for Majlis as a nazr (vow) in the name of Imam Hussain (as), his reported response was both shocking and deeply hurtful:

“Throw this nazr into the river.”

If these words were indeed spoken, they reflect a disturbing disregard for the religious sentiments of countless mourners. Such an attitude has no place in public service, where every citizen’s faith and dignity deserve respect.

A nazr offered in the name of Imam Hussain (as) is an expression of devotion and faith. To dismiss it with contempt is not merely insensitive—it deeply wounds the hearts of those who hold these sacred traditions dear.

Respectfully, reducing the acceptance of a person’s faith to whether they were granted permission to travel is neither a sound religious argument nor a fair one. If being allowed to visit a sacred place were proof of righteousness, then every person who performs Hajj or Ziyarat

It's not simply "Allah's will."If someone is repeatedly denied the opportunity for a spiritual journey, perhaps instead of blaming circumstances, they should reflect on themselves. A journey to the sacred requires sincerity, pure intentions not the intention to spread FASAAD .

The Qur’an teaches that Allah alone knows what lies in the hearts of people. It is not for us to declare that someone was denied a spiritual opportunity because of their intentions or to claim knowledge of Allah’s wisdom.
