This is my root trainer v toilet roll sweet pea experiment. All the seeds are Sweet Dreams and we’re sown the same day on 28/3/2020. Seed exposed with sandpaper. The plants from the trainer are taller and more advanced, but the toilet roll plants are stockier with better roots.

Almost everything through after 2/3 weeks after sowing. Not much difference between the toilet roll and root trainer sown sweet peas other than toilet rolls took a bit longer to come up. Now need to clean the cold frame! #robsmith #growyourown
