The TCS case was also a propaganda from the very beginning. According to the wife of one of the accused employees, Danish, his female colleague had been trying to impress her husband by fasting, praying and showing interest in Islam.

When the woman's parents found out about the relationship, they approached Bajrang Dal, which then helped construct the entire narrative. The police were brought in, other Hindu employees in the office were involved and several Muslim colleagues were dragged into the case despite having little or no connection to the relationship itself.

TCS also conducted an independent third party investigation into the allegations. The investigation found no evidence of workplace harassment and no evidence of any organized conversion operation within the company.

Nida Khan, whom the media and right wing extremists relentlessly targeted as a key suspect and linked her with the cases of terrorism, was neither a manager nor someone in a position of authority. She was simply an employee with no supervisory role and no staff reporting to her. Yet she was portrayed as a central conspirator. This entire story was another lie to target Muslims.
