Forgive me if I dont post or upload a bunch for the next few days. Me and my wife are taking our baby Calypso to the vet for the 4th time in 3 months today.

Im p sure she has a kidney infection but the vets just keep saying uti. Shes been peeing outside her litter box as well as peeing blood for 6 months now.

So, the vet confirmed that she has ANOTHER bladder stone. First one went away with the Diet THEY prescribed us.😒

This one they said she will need surgery for but they can't be 100% that she won't have more in the future.

Me and my wife really don't want to put her through a ton of surgeries for the rest of her life which leads us to the hardest decision a pet owner has to make.

Please keep us in your thoughts as we go forward with this difficult decision. I will keep everyone updated with what happens. 😖

@katteri38639998 She is. Shes ab 5. And thats what shes been on since January of 2025. It went away for a while and then came back earlier this year. The vet kept saying it wasnt a bladder stone too

Right now were looking at October 1st as the date that works best for us (it also gives us a little more time with her)

I think were also going to go with in home rather than a stressful car ride to an uncomfortable place. It will also let her siblings say goodbye.

Thank you to everyone who's been following along, sorry to be so depressing, especially since I just came back to the entertainment scene. This was NOT on my 2026 bingo card, among other things.

@Kaliimist22 That is adorable. Unfortunately, we have to put her down. Not only do we not have the money but, shes going to keep being put in surgeries for the rest of her life and we dont want to do that to her... 😭😭
