"Imagine someone telling you in 2016 that Patrick Kane would end up with a more positive legacy in Detroit than Dylan Larkin."
Devastating bit of perspective coming from the WWP Patreon comments. 🥴 #LGRW
Feelings on this perfectly summarized by @DownGoesBrown.
I understand starting with a limited list to see if you can get your preferred destination, but if none of those teams fork over market value then Larkin should be ready to sit. #LGRW
There’s going to be a million trade proposals floating around, some that makes sense, a lot that don’t.
Most common one I’ve seen is to Minnesota.
I’ll just get ahead of it, Minnesota has nothing that I’d want (that they’d be willing let go) as a centrepiece of a Larkin trade.
Less analytical and more emotional response to Larkin requesting a trade: soft.
I get wanting to win. I get pushing Yzerman to add. I get that you're tired of losing.
Still soft. Larkin wasn't free from blame as to why Detroit fell short the past few years.
Soft. #LGRW
as tempted as i am to unreservedly dunk on the red wings and the yzerplan and the many, many annoying members of their fanbase rn, IMO this is a pretty weak move by Larkin
Just heard the news on #ClaudeLemieux
This is extremely sad no matter what feelings from past or present you hold. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends and people who got to see the person off the ice wasn’t the person on. As I’ve said and will always call it as I see it
“If your on the ICE with Claude Lemieux and your turn your back. YOU Are an IDIOT.
But off the ICE I’ll turn mine”
And please. If you are struggling at all please reach out and talk to someone
Godspeed my friend

@Dbess26 The mentality I cannot comment on, and this season avg down, but like he put up the same above average numbers and a GG every year haha. You see the people I deal with on my team 😂
Skenes has thrown 5,568 pitches at the MLB Level. He’s allowed 23 home runs.
That’s roughly one home run every 250 pitches against the world’s greatest hitters.
If you’re reading this: You would never, could never, never ever, ever ever, hit a home run off Paul Skenes. Ever.
