-I was in college when 3 released & so had a bunch of irls who were also into splatoon and that was really cool and important to me

for context:
-I got into splatoon in 2020 when they did a free demo & some repeat splatfests on 2
-Octo Expansion took this from being just a game I liked to a life consuming special interest
-I played through splatoon 1s story on an emulator with stick controls and it was brutal
