In Europe, we must have full capacity to produce all types of air defense systems and missiles for them. This includes protection against drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic threats.

We cannot rely on other partners’ industries. We must be confident in our own industry here in Europe. Please, let’s keep moving this work forward and speed it up.

And while we are building this capacity, please remember that we need protection from Russian missiles every single day. I am grateful to those of you who actively support us through the PURL program – it’s critically important.

The defense of Ukraine and respect for Ukraine demand our daily strength, daily action, and daily courage of Ukrainians. And every effort matters, every act of support matters, every person matters, and for all of us together – Ukraine matters. Ukraine that no one will build for us, grant to us, or defend except us, the Ukrainians.

Today, we are presenting state awards to our volunteers, doctors, educators, scientists, cultural figures, athletes, and journalists – the people who truly care, who give their all, and on whom depends what will happen to Ukraine, to our independence, and to our ability to remain a sovereign and strong state.

It is in the interest of our entire nation, of all Ukrainians, and of Ukraine that you, and all our other people who stand in defense of Ukraine, who serve Ukraine, who expand and strengthen our Ukrainian army, Ukrainian society, and Ukrainian culture – so that all our people do not let fatigue get the better of them, remain effective, and enable Ukraine to become even more itself: a strong European state, without which Europe cannot be imagined.

Andrew Gant is right: Labour in Oxford contradict themselves on expanding the zero emmision zone.

Last month, they supported proposals to spend millions developing the ZEZ at a county budget meeting. Then the City Council endorsed its own air quality plan which supports the ZEZ.
