The Kelana Jaya LRT Line is set to receive 26 new trains which will be fully operational by 2031, as part of efforts to improve reliability amid ongoing service disruptions.
Rapid Rail said it has increased maintenance work by replacing worn parts earlier under a condition-based approach, noting that recent disruptions stem from ageing components and temporary instability linked to system upgrades.
