Its been 2 months since the release. Tomorrow I start meta ads, cause the app is finally ok (since 15 updates).
But today I got only 20 DAU and zero revenue:)
What I see right now:
- there is a concept I like. I know what to do in the next months
- I see a huge risk (I presume like for 95%+ new apps) of not growing the acquisition
- ASO is slowly growing (from 0-10 shows to ~50 per day)
- I have stable low DAU, but 60% walk with dogs
I think Im in the most diffucult part - to get first 100 users and really understand the performance of my app.
And then make a conclusion whether it has a potential or not
Future plans:
- analyze the "vibes" and build statistics. Potentially better understand a dog character through this data
- give for the users more helpful notifications
- implement week/month summary

New version of Lapka has been released: https://t.co/mCGBxI15zi
Whats new:
- walk "vibes". You can now tag your walks, from playful to relaxing
- you can now set up a default goal which will be applied for all your walks
- impoved GPS tracking
Enjoy!
I built an app about tracking walks with dogs. Looking for feedback!
Released it 1 week ago. The 1st version was with a lot of bugs so I continued to test it with my friends.
Now I am ready to share the link to my app: https://t.co/Qv2hlu89wA

About me: I am a head of analytics at a tech company. The idea came from analytical perspective (just "it would be interesting to track my walks with my poodle").
