@Bolmercl@florianederer@paulnovosad With some steroids in there too? Peptides maybe?..obviously that’s much needed for youngings like you, right?
Just eat your protein and workout you silly goose.
I don't mean to sound arrogant by saying this, but I just think it is just true that if people learned more neuroscience, and had a better idea how the human nervous system and brain actually works, then they would be better prepared to understand how machine intelligence is really not the same as human intelligence
For example, neural networks are sort of loosely inspired by cortex, but that's about it
I'm not trying to be a dick, but it's hard to have conversations on here sometimes because people's level of knowledge is just so low
Personally? Oh man.
This is just a tweak on Peter’s question which most of you know:
“What is something you feel is good and needs to be done, but on which almost no institution agrees with you and will fight to destroy you with their full force at a deeply personal level?”
Where to begin??
Undermining faith in Anthony Fauci’s and Francis Collins’ scientific behavior during a pandemic.
Calling attention to the fact that the president of the United States with launch code responsibility was obviously demented during his presidency.
Opposing high levels of immigration for completley non-xenophobic reasons.
Openly discussing asymmetries in patterns of religious martyrdom attacks.
Fighting the loss of the word “Genocide” via coordinated social campaigns.
Pointing out that the history of Peer Review is retconned and fictitious and obviously false.
Fighting irreversible surgeries pushed on children leading to a reproductive holocaust.
Calling for an end to Diverisity-Equity-Inclusion and opposing “Black Lives Matter”, despite their branding genius, even during the Summer of Floyd.
Pointing out that conspiracies are well documented and ubiquitous and fighting for responsible conspiracy theorizing.
Promoting my own technical work and insisting that scientists get paid handsomely.
Etc. Etc.
You’re asking the wrong person. It seems I stand up for what I believe is deeply good and what is misperceived as evil all day, every day. This has stupidly become close to my whole life at times. I’m so bored by how silent everyone is. I can’t fathom it. “Managed Reality” has turned evil.
Something is pushing pure evil, disguised as “good” down our throats 24/7 via the institutions. And almost everyone puts up with it. I do not.
But: Thanks for the question.
A great one!
@piersmorgan@realDonaldTrump But, to play devils advocate, their job also isn’t to hold bias views, be always cynical, rude and sarcastic toward republican side but not holding the same standard for the dems, attack and report false stories about president. So how do you solve the issue?🧐
LEBANON: for robustness, no community should dominate, no community should be dominated.
Maronites dominated until 1975... then war. Then the Sunnis... Then Shias...
You don't want to restart the fragility circle. Organic systems have their own logic & resist repression.
@joekent16jan19 I think you failing the IQ test….actually IQ test is just pattern recognition evaluation system … the patterns you obviously aren’t recognizing
Here's a mind-blowing statistic: despite making up just ~0.2% of the global population, players with ethnic heritage from the former Yugoslavia are 7.5% of players in the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 (overrepresented by 40x) and play for 9/32 or 28% of teams! -> 🇭🇷🇧🇦🇦🇹🇦🇺🇨🇭🇺🇸🇨🇦🇸🇪🇩🇪
JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon on China:
We should treat them as a potential adversary, not as an adversary.
I'm ashamed and embarrassed and sad and depressed we are so reliant on them for certain of these other things.
China — they are surrounded by Japan, Korea, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, and Russia.
That's a tough part of the world. And they've pissed them all off — and not because of us, all on their own.
