What a night last night was for our GISD Cosmetology Seniors that achieved their hours. Sport Clips Haircuts Headquarters rolled out the red carpet for our seniors, literally “rolled out the red carpet” it was an amazing night for the cosmo class of 24, their parents & myself.

State Board Practical seniors practicing…I feel it is so important to practice state board with your students for their success! We have been from doing it weekly from January-May of 2024. They are ready! #gisdstudentsuccess #GISDProud #gisdcosmetology

Power went out 10 min into after school clinic 3 & 1/2 hours still out. We rolled with it & put our clients by the windows colored, highlighted & balayage by natural light. The things I do for our students to earn hours & our students for their clients with no lights & power.

After school clinic was hoppin’ Tuesday night. We had students working on Skills USA & client services! We were so busy but took a few pictures! Abby McConnell had 3 clients from 4-7 & did a beautiful job & exhibited amazing time management.
