Imagine picking up your 2-year-old from daycare, only to find the doors locked, the lights off, and every employee gone home.
That’s exactly what happened to a mother in Plantation, Florida. Her little girl was trapped inside, climbing onto a chair and crying for her mommy.
How does an entire daycare staff leave without making sure every child is accounted for?
That’s not a small mistake. That’s a parent’s worst nightmare.
Sometimes you pick on the wrong person.
A security guard escorts a man twice his size out of a nightclub, but instead of letting him leave, he keeps hassling him.
No punches thrown, but somehow the security guard ends up in a garbage pail.
Sometimes knowing when to back off is the smartest move you can make.

Imagine installing security cameras on your own property, only to have your neighbor come over and tear them down.
And just to make her point, she gives him the middle finger.
Some neighbors complain. Others become the very reason you need security cameras in the first place.

THE ADULT LEVEL GIRL DRAMA with these two! I am ded! 💀
These two get into it big time! 👇🏼
Thing Two is upset with Cat in the Hat for making a mean joke that hurt her feelings or made her feel a certain type of way!
Cat in the Hat is mad that Thing Two didn’t bring it up when it happened!
It just escalates from there. Insults fly something about one not getting a boyfriend. It’s a whole thing. All I am saying is I’m glad I have a son!
It’s just too cute to watch them trade barbs and get into a heated conversation complete with name-calling and water tossing! 😂😂
At 65 Michael J. Fox shared a wish after living with Parkinson’s disease for 35 years. “I’d like to just not wake up one day. That’d be really cool. I don’t want it to be dramatic.” He wasn’t saying he wanted to give up on life. He was talking about the kind of ending he hoped for.
Falls have already taken a serious toll on his body. He has broken his elbow, hand, arms, shoulder and cheekbone. One injury required a plate in his face. These weren’t accidents from movie stunts. They were ordinary moments that became risky because his body no longer always did what he wanted it to do.
Fox was only 29 in 1991, newly married to actress Tracy Pollan, when doctors diagnosed him with early-onset Parkinson’s. For seven years he kept his diagnosis private. In 1998 he finally told the public. Tracy had married him in 1988. Together they built a family that eventually included their son Sam, twins Aquinnah and Schuyler, and their youngest daughter Esmé.
In 2018 Fox underwent surgery to remove a benign tumor from his spine. The operation affected his ability to walk. More falls followed. His 2023 documentary *Still* showed viewers the bruises on his face. Even his beloved guitar became a reminder of what Parkinson’s had taken from him.
Yet not every memory was filled with pain. In one moment he recalled standing with Tracy at a Vampire Weekend concert. As the band played “Harmony Hall,” Tracy danced beside him. Looking back he said, “I mean, there’s still a lot of people I love and a lot of people who love me, so where am I going?”
During another conversation in 2023 he explained, “And if you can find something to be grateful for, then you can find something to look forward to, and you carry on.” While discussing death and the possibility of a peaceful ending, Fox was also promoting his book *Future Boy* and preparing to return to television through *Shrinking*.
For now Michael J. Fox is still here, still surrounded by people he loves, and still making plans for tomorrow.
🚨Getting tough on China shouldn’t put American small businesses OUT OF BUSINESS.
Imagine pouring your savings into used phones to repair and resell then having your listings blocked because a marketplace fears liability or can’t verify the devices.
That’s your investment, your income and your livelihood hanging in the balance.
🔥Carr’s crackdown deserves support.
Small businesses deserve a clear path to compliance. Read the post below for why this matters👇
Sugar cream pie has been my favourite since I was a little girl 🥧 My grandma used to make the very best one ever 🥹💙
Here's her recipe if you want to try it… smooth, creamy and kissed with maple ☺️ Save it for later and tell me if you make it 👇😋
Graham Cracker Crust (one 9-inch / 23 cm pie)
• 1½ cups (about 150–160 g) graham cracker crumbs (roughly 10–12 sheets)
• ¼ cup (50 g) granulated or light brown sugar
• Pinch of salt
• 6 tablespoons (85 g) unsalted butter, melted
Sugar cream filling
• 1¾ cups (350 g) packed light or dark brown sugar
• ⅓ cup (80 ml) pure maple syrup
• 1¼ cups (300 ml) heavy cream (35% MF)
• 3 tablespoons (42 g) unsalted butter
• 2 tablespoons (15–16 g) all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon (8 g) cornstarch
• 2 large eggs, at room temperature
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Make the crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175–180°C).
Mix the crumbs, sugar, and salt, then stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
Press it firmly and evenly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate (use the bottom of a measuring cup or glass for a compact crust).
Bake 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and fragrant. Let cool while you make the filling.
2. Start the filling 🤤
In a medium heavy bottomed saucepan, combine the brown sugar, maple syrup, cream, and butter.
Warm over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth and steaming (do not let it boil hard)!
**Remove from the heat.**
3. Temper and thicken In a bowl, whisk the eggs, flour, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Slowly pour about ½ cup of the warm sugar-cream mixture into the eggs while whisking vigorously (this prevents curdling).
Pour the tempered egg mixture back into the saucepan.
Return to medium-low heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 3–5 minutes until the filling thickens slightly (it should coat the back of a spoon and feel like a thin pudding).
**Do not let it boil.**
4. Assemble and bake.
Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust (place the pie plate on a baking sheet to catch any drips).
Bake at 350°F (175–180°C) for 30–40 minutes, until the edges are set and the centre still has a gentle jiggle. 👀
The top will caramelize and turn golden.
5. Cool and set.
Cool completely on a rack (at least 2 hours)
then refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours or preferably overnight.
The filling firms up into a creamy, sliceable texture.
It’s best to wipe the knife between slices for clean cuts.😋
Serve cold or at cool room temperature, plain or with unsweetened whipped cream (the pie is already very sweet). Some like it with ice cream.
** Dark brown sugar gives deeper molasses notes; light brown is milder.
The brief stovetop cook plus the eggs/flour/cornstarch combination produces the soft, fudgy-creamy set.
It is most Excellent the next day.
Keeps 4–5 days refrigerated.
It freezes reasonably well (slice first).
😋 Variations: Add a handful of toasted pecans or walnuts to the filling if you like.
For an even richer maple hit, increase the syrup slightly and reduce the brown sugar by the same volume.
If you ever want the traditional pastry crust instead, most classic recipes use a single unbaked flaky crust and bake the filling in it from the start. 💙
Since when does a yoga mat reserve a parking spot?
A woman sits in an empty parking space, refusing to move because she’s saving it for a car that hasn’t arrived.
I always thought parking was first come, first served. But does that mean the first car or the first person who plants themselves in the space?
You can’t just claim a parking spot like it’s your personal property. And nobody should have to risk a confrontation just to park their car.
Nothing worse than having a neighbor from hell.
You can ignore them, avoid them, even try to make peace. But when you live next door, there’s no escaping the drama.
Your home is supposed to be your peace, not a lifelong headache.
Has anyone else noticed … or is it just me!
When a Democrat says something derogatory and gets called out on it, they ALWAYS come out and say “It was just a joke!” OBAMA!
Republicans don’t do that BECAUSE they know they wouldn’t get away with it.
