One person’s shelter is another person’s castle.
She built this place from scratch, with her own two hands, and couldn’t be happier to have a roof over her head.
It may not look like much to some people, but to her, it’s home. And the pride she takes in it says everything.
Sometimes the simplest things in life mean the most.

Imagine your neighbor knocking on your door demanding your Wi-Fi password.
You let her use your computer once, and she decided that meant free internet for life.
When you change the password, she actually comes over asking for the new one because getting her own Wi-Fi is too expensive.
The nerve of some people. There’s a difference between being neighborly and being taken advantage of.

A parking violation at Walmart turns into a physical fight with police officers. Over a fire lane!
What should have been a simple encounter reportedly escalated into punches being thrown and a man being arrested.
Police officers shouldn’t have to fight someone over something this minor. Every time an officer approaches a vehicle, they have no idea how that encounter will end.
Imagine risking a criminal record and possible jail time because you couldn’t cooperate over a parking violation.
A simple parking ticket should never turn into a street fight.
Flying With Two Cats Doesn’t Mean You Get to Make Your Own Rules
A woman shows up at the airport with two cats, but apparently hasn’t followed the airline’s pet travel procedures.
Her argument? She’s flown with them before, and there was nowhere on the website to enter their information.
I understand her frustration if the website wasn’t clear. But traveling with pets requires checking the airline’s rules before arriving at the airport.
The airline has procedures for a reason. Just because something worked on a previous flight doesn’t mean it’s automatically allowed on the next one.
And now she’s arguing with employees who are simply trying to enforce the rules.
Five passengers in a four-passenger Uber. What’s the big deal?
A group tried to squeeze an extra person into an Uber instead of ordering a larger vehicle. When the driver refused, they pressured him to make an exception. “Come on, it’s no big deal.”
Actually, it is a big deal.
UberX generally allows four passengers. That means four available seat belts. If there’s an accident, that extra passenger could create serious safety, insurance, and liability problems for the driver.
The passengers save a few dollars while the driver takes all the risk.
Don’t put someone’s livelihood and safety on the line just because you don’t want to pay for a larger vehicle.
Just nine days after a pickup truck drove onto a soccer field and killed a 6-year-old boy, his parents stood together at his funeral, holding hands as his father tried to describe how he imagines seeing his little boy again in heaven.
And what he shared about those hugs he misses so much is absolutely heartbreaking.
Many of you remember little Cole Adrian from my post. He’s the Kansas kindergartner whose life was taken October 17th when a truck drove onto a soccer field in Wichita.
His family gathered to say their final goodbye yesterday.
Just look at that sweet little face. It’s almost impossible to understand that his parents, Chris and Natalie, had to bury their little boy so suddenly.
According to reporting from Ad Astra Radio, his father recalled how Cole could turn even the simplest moments into the “best day ever.”
He loved soccer, laughter and giving those big, tight hugs that his family will forever miss.
And at his funeral, Chris shared an image of his little boy that speaks volumes.
As reported by The Guardian, he imagined Cole running through heaven’s gates, just as he’d watched him run across soccer fields, before wrapping his arms around Jesus for one of those hugs.
The community showed up for Cole in an extraordinary way.
Schools across McPherson closed so teachers and students could attend his funeral.
His family invited people to wear soccer jerseys, blue clothing or camouflage, reflecting some of the things Cole loved.
But behind all those tributes were two parents facing a lifetime without their son.
The crash also killed 35-year-old Nicholas Schafer and injured ten others. Police have been investigating what caused the driver to enter the field. No charges have been filed as of today.
But Monday wasn’t about the investigation.
Please join me in praying for Chris and Natalie, for Cole’s brother and sister, and for every family whose life was changed that afternoon
I hope they can feel how many people, even complete strangers, are grieving alongside them.
RIP.
Woman stands in an open parking spot to "save" it… while a driver sits there waiting to pull in 😳
"Yep, we're at a standoff."
"You're in the wrong."
The whole parking lot stopped to watch, and when the car finally got the spot? The crowd CHEERED 👏
Is saving a parking spot with your body ever okay? 👀
MizzWelch is such a badass!! 🤡🤭🙄
Jennifer the Hemorrhoid so tough calling out Christian conservatives! So tough @MizzWelch locked her account down. I can respect a Leftist that will debate. But Jenn is a pussy! Jenn is a fucking 🤡! DONT TREAD ON ME!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
A mother woke up to find her home engulfed in flames with all six of her children still trapped inside.
She made it outside, then realized all of her kids were still in the burning house, so she turned around and went back in.
The smoke was so thick she had to get down low and crawl. She fought her way through the house and up the stairs while the fire spread around her.
Emma Schols kept going back for her children, getting them out one by one even as the heat became unbearable.
By the time it was over, all six of her children had made it out alive.
Emma suffered burns over 93% of her body saving her children, and said she would do it all again.
This is the type of mom the internet should be talking about.
Billionaire Bill Gates is mocking the world as a free man on his 71st birthday.
👹What a disgusting, vile monster! He should be locked away for crimes against humanity, not walking freely among us.👹
Vote like children’s lives depend on it. Because they do.
The Cass Review found the evidence for puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones in minors is remarkably weak—no high-quality data showing they improve mental health or reduce suicide risk, with clear risks to bone health, fertility, and sexual development. England, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark have all sharply restricted or banned routine use for this reason.
Most pre-pubertal gender dysphoria resolves with time and therapy. This election is about whether we follow that evidence or keep medicalizing distressed kids with experimental, irreversible interventions.
Protect children first!

Imagine getting dressed for your wedding, looking absolutely beautiful, and discovering that the person who promised to pick you up has completely forgotten about you.
Now imagine having to take the New York City subway in your wedding gown.
That's exactly what happened to Rhoda Morgenstern. 😂
On October 28, 1974, more than 50 million Americans tuned in to watch Valerie Harper's beloved character marry Joe Gerard on Rhoda.
And what a wedding it was!
Mary Richards, Lou Grant, Murray Slaughter, and Georgette came from Minneapolis for the big occasion. Even Phyllis showed up.
Unfortunately, Phyllis had one important job: pick up the bride.
And being Phyllis, she forgot.
With no ride available, Rhoda did what any resourceful New Yorker might do. She headed for the subway, wedding dress and all, and made her way toward her parents' apartment in the Bronx.
The sight of Rhoda rushing through New York in her bridal gown became one of the most memorable moments of 1970s television.
Here's what makes it even more remarkable: at the time, Rhoda's wedding was the second most-watched television program in American history, behind only the birth of Little Ricky on I Love Lucy.
All those millions of people, waiting for a wedding.
And the bride nearly missed it.
Do you remember that subway ride! ❤️
