🚨 ROMANIA — AUR ACCUSES PRESIDENT DAN OF BLOCKING DEMOCRACY

The confrontation at Cotroceni has just escalated.
AUR’s delegation has emerged from talks with President Nicușor Dan accusing him of blocking the party from government.

Dan Dungaciu says the president has made clear he will accept neither a government containing AUR nor one supported by AUR.

That is the heart of the crisis.

Three prime-ministerial nominations have already failed in five months.

AUR represents millions of Romanian voters — yet the president continues trying to build a government around them rather than with them.

George Simion is now calling for early elections.
And after today’s meeting, AUR’s position is becoming harder:

If the political establishment cannot form a stable government while excluding one of the country’s largest political forces, then return the decision to the Romanian people.
