Shaq: I'm jealous of certain people when it comes to the GOAT conversation.

Shaq: How does that actually feel?

Tom Brady: Honestly, it never really feels right.

Tom Brady: When I look back at my career, I don't think, "I'm the greatest."

Tom Brady: I think about all the opportunities I was given, and all the people who helped me reach my potential.

Tom Brady: I played for a long time, and because I took care of my body, I actually got better when most players started declining.

Tom Brady: I won league MVP at 40. Then I went to Tampa at 43 and threw over 40 touchdowns.

Tom Brady: That wasn't just because of me. My body coach, Alex, helped me take care of myself. So many people played a role.

Tom Brady: Then I walked into New England and had Bill Belichick demanding excellence every single day.

Tom Brady: He held everyone accountable, so I didn't have to be the bad guy all the time.

Tom Brady: The culture was already there. Every new player wanted to live up to that standard.

Tom Brady: I played 23 seasons, so I had more opportunities than most. If I'd only played 12 years, I probably don't win seven Super Bowls.

Tom Brady: That's why I never see it as a one-man story.

Adam Lefkoe: It's funny hearing Tom thank everybody, because Shaq always says if he had Kareem's scoring record, he'd just walk around telling everybody, "I'm the GOAT."

Playmaking - His 2.11 assist to turnover ratio is mediocre when compared with the top all time assist per game players in history.

Floor raising - How? He lost 6x in the finals and the bottom dropped out every time, losing 3 straight games, being swept multiple times

Ceiling raising - How? He's recruited the whole league and just joined his 4th superteam. The last time he raised the floor, he followed it up by quitting in a tied Finals game, then quitting in the finale of the 4 game sweep, then running to put on Kobe's uniform. KD blew his roof off twice (pause) and he quit and ran

Leading - Terrible leader, notoriously difficult to coach and insubordinate, backstabber teammate.

Winning - lost 60% of his Finals and copped out to a ring culture that he proliferated and is still the undisputed face of.

Peak - Most of his peak was spent on superteams

Longevity - True but he juiced his blood for 17 years so his most celebrated accomplishment is also his most fraudulent one. Can't make this up.

Dominance - Throughout his absolute prime, was destroyed by Dirk, Jason Terry, Old Tim, Young Kawhi, Steph, Klay, Dray, and KD. What actually did LeBron dominate other than join-up culture and stats & participation over winning? Nothin.

Impact - Yeh, negative impact. The league has been tired of protecting him for years. He's the face of quitting, the face of the diminutive competitor, the face of joining your rivals, the absolute king of underachievement, the don of paid media and false narratives, and no player in the history of sports on Earth has enlisted and received more help than LeBron. And he's still 4-6 and in year 24 is still joining superteams and still chasing shortcuts that he hopes lead to Michael Jordan
