At some stage she said the permit backlog was because of incomplete documents submitted by drivers.

Then she said officials can’t contact drivers to issue their permits because drivers’ numbers have changed since they applied for the permits!

Then she said it was all province’s fault & she acknowledged that they too made mistakes…

If her problem is illegal immigrants, fine, let government approve the legal permit applications then! Let government release the permits of the South African drivers who have receipts as proof of application.

If the problem is illegal immigrants then why have the permits of South African drivers also not been issued?
