It is gladdening to see Indian art and culture become popular globally.
Following the ceremonial welcome this morning, PM Fico and I saw a collection of paintings created by Slovak children from across Slovakia.
Drawing inspiration from the Panchatantra and Jataka tales, the artworks beautifully showcase how India’s ancient wisdom and traditions continue to resonate with younger generations around the world.

Bhagavan AND The Maharaja:
Today, 4th June, is the birth anniversary of an enlightened and progressive king of Mysore, Krishnarajendra Wodeyar (b.1884). His reign from 1919 to 1940 saw much progress economically and culturally in Mysore. A rare story, not known to many, here. Have posted this thrice before, but now, again.
...................
The then Maharaja of Mysore, Krishnaraja Wodeyar came to Tiruvannamalai on 28th February 1937 for the specific purpose of having darshan of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. He came with a lot of offerings, two finely made shawls, specially made sweets etc. The Maharaja asked that his car be parked at a distance. When told that the car could enter the Ramanasramam premises, the Maharaja said, "No, when we go to have darshan of the Maharshi we have to walk".
The car was parked about a furlong from the ashram near the Agni Teertham. Krishnaraja and his retinue walked to the ashram. He asked for a private audience with Bhagavan, which the latter never gave to anyone. Anyone could enter and sit in the Old Hall before Bhagavan. But, the Maharaja insisted that he had to see Bhagavan privately. Bhagavan agreed and said that the former could meet him in the then newly built bathroom which was the only place he would be alone.
Krishnaraja Wodeyar went inside the bathroom at around 9-15 in the morning, and told Bhagavan, "They have made me a king, thus robbing me of the opportunity to sit at your feet and serve you. This is my fate. I have read your life and long had a desire to meet you, but my circumstances are such that intentions of this kind cannot easily be carried into effect. Nor can I stay here as other disciples can, considering all my limitations. While I remain here for about 15 minutes, I can now only pray for your grace.”
Then with tears copiously flowing from his eyes, the Maharaja fell at Bhagavan's feet, caught hold of them and remained in that position for some time. It is said that the Maharaja's tears actually wet Bhagavan's feet.
The Mysore Maharaja then bid a tearful farewell to Bhagavan and the ashram.
Later that day in the Old Hall, answering a devotee’s query about the Maharaja’s visit, Bhagavan said, "ஒரு மஹாராஜா, அவருக்கு உள்ள இவ்வளவு இருக்கு, பழுத்த பழம்". Meaning, "Though a king, he has so much of depth in him. He is a ripe fruit".

@intacel I am a technocrat because of the strength of our ancient civilization.
Technology and business are both downstream of culture and culture is shaped by civilizational values. Without those values, all we have are shiny gadgets and a soulless existence.
Kural 25 directly refers to "Indra".
The reference அடியளந்தான் is the Vamana avatar of Mahavishnu.
It is a wilful negation of the very text to claim that Kural has nothing to do with Hinduism.

One of the most powerful symbols of India’s unbroken civilizational continuity!
Discovered at Mohenjo-daro in undivided India this steatite seal, about 4,300-year-old, shows a seated figure in yogic posture (widely seen as Shiva-Pashupati) seated in Mulabandhasana, surrounded by animals.
While ancient sites may lie across modern borders, India remains the living custodian of this heritage. The yogic posture, Shaivite symbolism, and spiritual ethos seen in the Pashupati Seal continue to thrive in India’s temples, daily worship of Shiva, yogic traditions, and cultural life even today.
From the Vedic period to contemporary Bharat, this civilizational thread has remained alive and unbroken — deeply embedded in our philosophy, rituals, and collective consciousness.🇮🇳

Six animals surrounds the Pashupati seal!🔥
Elephant (on the right)
Tiger (on the right)
Rhinoceros (on the left)
Water Buffalo (on the left)
Two deer (or antelopes), depicted looking backward so their horns nearly meet in the center below the throne!
All animals found in Indian geography!🔥
Yet Audrey Truschke tried to argue that a deity surrounded these Indian animals is Iranian - Elamite.
If it is Indo European, then she just conceded that Indo European languages and PIE originated in Sarasvati Sindhu Region.🔥🙂

> Ramachandran was in love with Janaki in high school.
> Ram left the city.
> Janaki gets married and moves to Singapore.
> They catch up for a reunion.
> They went to his place and spent the night.
> Nothing sexual happens.
> Later, they go their separate ways.
People call it a masterpiece love story.
However, I disagree. She's already married to another man. She shouldn't even have met him.
And he should have married and moved on.
Movies show love as something that lasts a lifetime.
But it's always the man who suffers, while the girl marries and moves on.
Young boys watch such movies and destroy their lives chasing love.

Romila Thapar’s false claim for 30+ years
For more than thirty years, eminent historian Romila Thapar has claimed that Patañjali compared the relationship or conflict between the Brahmanas and the Shramanas to that between the snake and the mongoose.
The claim is completely false. Watch to know more.
Not cool.
You can dislike a Prime Minister, disagree with a government, protest, debate and vote differently. That’s democracy.
But reducing the office of India’s Prime Minister, the man, the office, and what he represents abroad, to a joke on foreign soil -doesn’t feel like the right thing or dissent - to me.
It diminishes him, the institution, and ultimately, us.
