Above all, when politicians suggest an aggressive remedy we are entitled to an explanation of how it will affect people, and overused empty words like "bigness" won't do it. Will iPhones or other Apple devices be cheaper? more innovation? better interconnectivity? if so, why?

@Sherman1890 I guess breaking up Apple will make consumers much worse off. Smaller companies have even less bargaining power to control costs, so prices probably won’t fall, and Apple will become a mess. Politicians who don’t tolerate reasonable price hikes don’t think so, obviously.
