@stanziirl Same, especially when I'm talking to people on here. A lot of times I'd just rather get someone's perspective on something vs just googling it.
@donut_uncle@USPS@USPSHelp@USPS is so inefficient with shipping. They do dumb stuff like this all the time. Just think of the money we could save the taxpayer if it was run by people with common sense.
@LetemburnED That's awesome! I never got into Serious Sam back in those days, the PC came with a ton of demo discs. Painkiller is one I remember, and iirc one of the UT games.
Love vintage computing like this. I've been wanting to recreate my setup from 2003 but it'll be stupid expensive :/
I had an Alienware Area51 desktop in black with the red lights. Those towers alone are ~$700 last time I checked. I couldn't even find the correct keyboard. It also came with the best mouse ever made, the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0. I really wish I didn't throw it all away ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Transferring files to a USB drive at a snails pace. I got a new 64gb thumb drive but the old Mac doesn't see it. No problem I've got plenty of antiques it seems to like laying around. So far all systems go
Virtualization, but this is all besides the point anyways. Why add more surveillance to your daily life? You can de-google a phone via GrapheneOS to reduce your footprint, afaik you can't do anything like that with those cars. What happens if someday you're marked as "terrorist" and they decide to shut your car off on you? If you're ok with giving control like that to a private company then I guess go ahead.
@HunterBiden@notdan@MikeASperrazza Hunter, I have to know, WHY crack? Of all the drugs you could've gotten, why crack? You could've been snorting 100 Percocets a day, why crack? ๐
