This year's GLCMF theme is Turning Points! In honor of that, we'll share with you some integral moments in our Festival's 30 year history.

This year's Festival theme is Turning Points!

In 1990 James Tocco played with Maury Okun in the DSO orchestra. Tocco asks Maury if he’d be interested in putting together a chamber music festival. It was then that the seeds of the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival were planted.
