Our Under 9s narrowly lost out tonight against a very good St Peter and St Paul's team.
Despite the defeat, they showed brilliant resilience and a great togetherness, with some exceptional individual performances.
Next time Gledhow!⚽

Thank you to Preston Estate Agents for their generous donation of books to celebrate their birthday! A wonderful selection of fiction and non fiction for the children to choose from in the library! #lovereading
We did it!
Very proud to say that we have retained our Gold @YourSchoolGames mark for 22/23. This award recognises our commitment to PE and sporting opportunities at Gledhow.

Amazing performance from our U9s at the end of Season playoffs tonight! They won their 1/4 final and semi-final matches before coming up against a very good @BramhamShadwell (Shadwell) team! Well done to all players who've represented this year! Can't wait for next season!
The Y6 footy team were fabulous this evening, even in defeat. They battled right to the end in their QF cup match against @GledhowPrimary. The game was end to end, a gripping affair which ended up with a narrow 2-1 loss. I’m sure you’ll all agree they were amazing! #proud
Last week you may have noticed we had an Air Source Heat Pump installed. This, alongside the previous installation of Solar panels, will assist school in being much more sustainable and help to cut our carbon footprint.
A teacher may be younger than you, frustrate you, have a slightly more informal relationship at times, or not do everything exactly the way you want them.
None of that means you can show them less respect or be more rude when talking to them than you would any other service.
Year 5&6 girls took part in the Primary Stars Finals yesterday at County FA. 5 exciting games were played and they ended up coming 1st in the competition. They will now represent Leeds United Foundation at Elland in June. This is an amazing achievement for the girls. Well done!⚽
The North East Leeds Well School Partnership Multi Skills event tonight @RoundhaySchool was lots of fun! Thanks to our super @RSch_PE sports leaders who did a great job leading & supporting the primary pupils 👏🏻👍🏻 Well Done Everyone 😊
Well done to the Under 9s who put in a great team performance this evening in a closely fought 4-3 win against a very good @stpaulscps1 team. Both sides played with courage and determination right up until the final whistle!
What a brilliant performance by our Cross-Country finalists at @TempleNewsam this afternoon. They should feel extremely proud with how they ran. Thanks to @LeedsWellSchool and @LeedsNE_SGO for a brilliantly organised event!
A spirited performance by our U9s team saw them come out on top after a penalty shootout against Westerton Primary this afternoon. A very closely fought game had finished 1 - 1 in normal time.
Well done to all the players who showed amazing team work and togetherness!
Amazing effort from our Cross-Country runners this morning at Cardinal Heenan School... It was the first time with the Under 9s and 11s. They all represented school brilliantly even in the bitterly cold weather. Thanks for all the support from parents too...❄️
