Our firefighters were kept busy this evening, responding to incidents at a hotel in Qawra and at a complex in Gozo.
Thankfully, both sites are now under control. Well done to all our firefighters and emergency personnel involved for their prompt and professional response

Had a cordial call with my Lithuanian counterpart, Martynas Katelynas. We discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and looked ahead to Lithuania’s upcoming EU Council Presidency, alongside other issues of mutual interest. I look forward to continuing our close cooperation.

A new Hal Far facility will serve as a prison to persons towards the end of their sentence. Increased police success is putting pressure on Kordin Prison. The new Ħal Far facility will strengthen the prison system and safeguard security.

Marsa Mayor did the right thing. Illegal dumping is illegal and irresponsible. The Police will do their duty and take the necessary action. We all have a responsibility to keep our communities clean and respect the law.

Vandal deported after pleading guilty to causing damage to vehicles parked in Swieqi. In our country, we want people who respect our laws, rules and society. Anyone who chooses to break the law must face the consequences of their actions.

RISE Foundation supports people leaving prison as they reintegrate into society. Our Government works closely with NGOs because success is not measured by the number of incarcerations, but by reducing recidivism and helping people build a better future.
