Tomorrow, NASA is set to launch a spectacular rescue mission for the #Swift spacecraft. This #spacetelescope will burn up in our atmosphere in a few months if nothing is done. So the LINK spacecraft is going to pull it up to a safe orbit. 🛰️🚀

Good to see people enjoying the Bank Holiday sunshine around the Town Mill in Lyme Regis during the weekend it celebrates 25 years of being saved from dereliction and being re-opened to the public. #MILLFEST#LymeRegis#Dorset
Great evening with @jethrotull on their Curiosity Tour @BHLIVE_UK Bournemouth Pavilion last night. Photos from the encore with permission of Mr Ian Anderson. #music
@afneil Quite a complex issue to unpick. Would the 5,000+ US troops be deployed elsewhere in Europe? Presumably, the Ramstein & Spangdahlem air bases would still operate as before? Isn't there now the NDAA, which says the troop levels in Europe can't permanently fall below 75,000?
@Richard_AHolmes It's truly bizarre how No. 10 suddenly released the "red box" template, but neither Sir Olly or Sir Phillip have ever seen such a document. I think Ian Collard also said he never saw any such document around the time of the appointment. So, what is the purpose of this template?
@Emm76642797Emm@BethRigby Yes, 1) vetting first, 2) then appointment, 3) then announcement... as you would expect to happen. Either way, the vetting is done first.
@mikegardner_wb I think confirmation that the correct (normal) order is vetting and appointment is substantial further damage. How can it be claimed that process was followed if the exact opposite was done?
