@sarajcox I’m a violinist with the surname Roberts, born in N Wales. I know two other violinists who has the same surname, both born in the same hospital as me - one grew up in Scotland who was in same year as me at music college and the other is 5 years older who I met working in London!

It was brilliant! Have to say though - I was utterly shocked at the attitude of some of the ‘old-time’ Prommers. Unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude. If I was a 1st timer with no idea about their reputation, I wouldn’t go back. Nearly left before the 2nd half because of it!
