In continuation of my consultations with party party Leaders, especially GAC members, yesterday I visited the Speaker of the Lagos state house of Assembly Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa and Elderstateman Dr. Abayomi Finih, also a Member of the GAC.
Speaker Obasa is a grassroots political mobilizer whose relevance and buy-in can’t be over emphasised as we warm up for our party primaries.
Dr. Finih on the other hand, offered valuable elderly admonitions money can’t buy, owing to his decades of experience in politics.
𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗪𝗔: 𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗘 𝟮𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛
A new chapter is set to open in the political life of Adamawa State.
In the coming days, the curtain will rise on the Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH226M), a broad-based initiative bringing together party faithful, grassroots actors, and public office holders under one coordinated structure. It is, by every measure, an undertaking without precedent in the state.
The composition reflects its reach. Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will serve as Patron, with Kaletapwa George Farauta, the Deputy Governor, as Chairman. They are joined by members of the State Executive Council, Special Advisers, Principal Special Assistants, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, heads and members of Boards and Parastatals, Local Government Chairmen, Development Area Administrators, and the 226 Ward Councillors.
From the smallest ward to the state capital, the framework has been carefully laid to ensure that no segment is left out.
The formal inauguration of its leadership and public unveiling will follow shortly.
What is unfolding is not merely an addition to the political landscape, but a deliberate effort at consolidation. Over time, various support groups have sprung up in different forms and strengths. They have played their part. Now, the moment calls for coherence. All Fintiri and Fresh Air support groups are therefore urged to come into this common fold, where efforts can be harmonized and purpose sharpened.
The strength of any political movement lies in its roots. This movement is anchored in the wards, where the true measure of support is known. Its progress will depend not on loud declarations, but on quiet, steady work—organizing, persuading, and turning out the vote.
To supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, both within Adamawa and beyond, the invitation is clear: take your place within this structure and lend your strength to a collective cause.
Politics is judged not by intention, but by result. Each ward will speak for itself. Each unit will count.
Those who believe in this cause must now return to their communities, put their hands to the plough, and do the work required.
We have a stake in what lies ahead.
And those with a stake do not stand on the sidelines—they step forward and shape the outcome.

Five Stars Haske Media Team are Ready to welcoming the incoming Governor of Adamawa State tomorrow
You are all invited to attend the official declaration of His Excellency Alhj Abdulrahman Bashir Haske to contest for the seat of Governor of Adamawa state @OfficialABHaske
One thing I have learned about the politics of Adamawa State and election patterns is that once you contest for the governorship and come second, there is a strong chance you may not win any political office afterward. Consider those who came second since 1999:
Bala Takaya – 1999
Adamu Modibbo – 2003
Ibrahim Bapetel – 2007
Markus Gundiri – 2011
Markus Gundiri – 2015
Bindow Jibrilla – 2019
Aishatu Binani – 2023
I do not know whether this is mere coincidence or a natural shift in the political climate, but it is something worth studying.
As things stand, 2027 will follow the same pattern.
The candidate who came second in 2019 is likely to become ADC flagbearer in 2027, and we all know the internal crisis within the ADC has already consumed the party even before the battle begin.
While the candidate who came second in 2023 has left the ADC, she is still struggling to secure a platform for the 2027 governorship election.
Meanwhile, the biggest and most accepted political party in Adamawa state @OfficialAPCNg will certainly field a candidate who has never contested for the governorship position before, since most of the leading aspirants are first-time contenders.

He wants to be the Governor Of Adamawa State and I am in support of him considering the fact that he is young with capacity.
Having conversations with him feels productive and looking at his plans for a more better Adamawa , we all need to support him .
He is putting Adamawa first .
The APC truly need a more credible faces to remain competitive in the north, Abdulrahman Bashir Haske’s emergence is exactly the kind of development I have been waiting to see.
Young, accomplished, and deeply rooted in the state.
The party and State future feels safe with people like at the helm.
Two days after Governor Abdullahi Sule declared Senator Aliyu Wadada as his preferred candidate for the Nasarawa State governorship election, ex-IGP Abubakar Adamu's supporters held a massive rally in Ciroma Ward, Lafia LGA.
Adamu's supporters, who came out to endorse him for the governorship, were asked to continue mobilisation across all wards and polling units by registering with the APC as the ex-IGP prepares for a direct primary.
