@Charred_Aznable@Aarav3510@ferierensama@SugoiLITE MC has a time gun and needs a fuel called burning stone to go back in time. Through a mental distress, he was sent to the memory bureau where he must go through memory layers and fight bugs plaguing them to go back to reality. As he goes deeper, he found these memories familiar.
Idk if anyone notice but when the show is at 2013(Memory bureau looking through the screen), the aspect ratio is 4:3. While when Guang Chao is at the bureau(probably is 2023?), it’s full screen. And when they are at a memory layer, it’s around 2.35:1 instead.

@glorywelpchild Well said, my theory is that the time gun doesn’t exist irl and is a manifestation of escapism for Guang Chan of needing to go to the past, the hollows are but Guang chuan memories fading away due to time since he travelled back 10 years, it’s likely. Idk about Ran Deng tho
@arzurenal @glorywelpchild In my opinion, I think it’s because these memories are supposed to be hard to recall. After all, when we try to remember something, we think in snippets and key objects.
There is so much rewatch value in False Memory! There are so many foreshadowings and visual cues I have missed out on my 1st watch, it’s honestly an incredible visual storytelling.

The First Bug Man detailing his poor family background with an intense pressure of expectation to succeed in his academics. The Second Bug Man about his heavy, monotonous and failed work life. Everything that leads to his escapism to the past and the mystery with Yi.
False Memory 3/3
Other than the obvious astounding experimental approach they have to animation, composition, and framing. The plot was also, in my opinion, amazing!
How Guang Chao went through each memory layer of his, exploring each pivotal point of his life.

@BigbroUrriza2@RulesArceus The director pointed out that To Be Hero X is a standalone show they are just using the name as it shares similar themes. In fact any of the to be hero series are not connected whatsoever
