@MediaByExample Be careful the rabbit holes you go down. It's really easy to get lost in social media. Watch the paths your going down and think "is this really the right thing?"

@MediaByExample What this means to me is that we're focusing on the big things, when the little things are happening right under our noses. We are focusing on social media taking over the internet, when it's already taken over our minds.

@MediaByExample It definitely depends all on the way you use it. Social media can be both a tool and a non-tool. It genuinely will sit there, waiting as long as you do too. If you're being manipulated by it, maybe you should rethink the way you are using social media.

@MediaByExample P2 - However, companies need a way to monetize things and make money. That's how a company stays active. So they sell slots for advertising. But the bigger the company the more advertising it needs... Till it gets out of hand like we have now.

@MediaByExample P1 - I definitely feel like nobody who works behind the social media companies purposely make it the addictive, money-making product it is now. They just want to create a way for people to communicate and share things other than just a text message.
