@NianticHelp All companion devices for Pokemon Go stop functioning unless Go is open and screen is on. Switching to another app or locking phone cancels any activity, defeating the entire purpose of the companion devices.

@realMax0r @WatermelonSala3 If it ever became a real problem, one assassin snail usually clears them up really quick. They only hunt snails but if there aren't any other snails around it'll just eat detritus like a normal snail.
