@pmarca You are arguing with people that have a reductionist mindset. Everything digital will be cast in the same light as AI. Either stop taking them seriously or prepare to go back to live painting where you have to mix your own colors.

@DranzerX13Anime@TheMG3D What people don't understand is that now there will end up being a crack down on fan art. You can't expect studios to protect against AI infringement and not come after the rest of the human made infringement as well.
@doodlejoops Social media followers does not equal support. If you have 50K followers and can't pull at least $500 a month it's a waste of your time to continually post for that audience unless you don't want to make money at all and posting for validation.
@DaveRapoza It basically means that if you sign up for a site like Midjourney and prompt something, that result can't be copywritten. However if you take that result and alter it you can.

@DougTenNapel A lot of the YouTube tutorial channels for Blender stopped making content in 2023. People would claim they wanted the content, but it would take too long to make and not enough engagement came from it. Two years later and I still don't see a ton of new 3D animators making content
