Police in South Africa airlifted a crocodile suspected of eating a 59-year-old businessman after drones spotted it in the area where he went missing.

Officers sh—t the animal and airlifted it out of the water. After c—tting it open, they discovered human remains believed to belong to Gabriel Batista.

Batista was reportedly swept away by floodwaters on Monday while attempting to drive across a flooded bridge to reach his hotel and bar.

Authorities found his ring inside the crocodile, along with six pairs of shoes that may belong to other victims.

It remains unclear whether Batista was alive when the crocodile ate him. Police also suspect that other crocodiles may have consumed parts of his body.
