The albedo effect refers to the ability of an object to reflect light. The reason it is relevant to climate change is because the lower the albedo effect, the more sun is absorbed, therefore contributing to warmer temperatures.

Have you heard of the paper battery? It could be a game-changer.
A Swiss institute, Empa, has now developed this biodegradable paper battery that only requires a drop of water to activate it. This is meant to help with reducing low-power e-waste.
According to the European Geosciences Union, nearly 22% of global carbon dioxide emissions stem from goods being consumed in one country but produced in another. Sweden is trying to tackle this through the introduction of consumption-based emissions into national climate targets.
Who is to blame for climate change? This is a very complicated question, and will no doubt generate an array of complicated answers, too. There’s not really a right or wrong answer to this, and it is very hard to point fingers, but is there someone that you blame?
