What if global payments could become as simple as one tap on your smartphone — while still respecting the principles of Islamic Finance?

That is the idea behind Decentralized Global Pay Token (DGPT / GPAY), a project from Venezuela launched on Sidra Start.

The project aims to create a decentralized payment solution that can work across different markets — from everyday local transactions to international payments.

But what makes this project interesting is not simply the payment technology.

It is the attempt to combine decentralized payments with Islamic Finance principles and Shariah-compliant values.

THE PROBLEM
