Red Lechwe are known to be semi-aquatic. These antelope have longer hind legs than front legs, allowing them to move quickly in the water. They can also graze in water up to 2 feet deep!

Common eland, also called cape eland, are the second largest antelope in the WORLD. Herds consist of 25-60 males and females. Nursing calves grow will quickly as eland milk has 3 times the fat content and 2 times the protein content of most cow's milk.

We are so excited to add another member to our WILD family! This is Atlas and Gaea, they are Sulcata tortoises or also known as Africa Spurred tortoise. They are now enjoying there new enclosures and munching on some leafy greens!
