In the "Splice" movie, did you catch this? While male Dren was impregnating Elsa, at one point he actually (clearly) said, "Wow." I was surprised that didn't make it into the novel, but him saying "inside you" was much more meaningful. The Splice novel on sale @EnPocalypsePub.

@EnPocalypsePub "Splice" is everything I hoped for and so much more! Roger Ebert would have loved the novel too. It answers deep questions about not only Dren, but the relationship between Clive and Elsa. A total page turner... couldn't put it down!
