Russia struck a bus carrying Ukrainian miners returning home after their shift, killing 12.

The first "Shahed" struck near the bus, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a fence. People began to climb out of the bus, and at that moment, the operator of the second "Shahed" aimed the drone directly at them.

About a year ago I was invited to be a closed door speaker at a gathering of wealthy, highly educated people.

After I was done giving remarks, one of the attendees asked why they never saw images of the war in Ukraine. It wasn't meant to be snarky or mean. They were genuinely curious, and I was genuinely speechless.

For those who live this war, it seems unfathomable. For those very far away, it seems preposterous that a European capital could come under siege.

VP Vance asked for a thank you for an aid package he voted against. His administration also told Zelensky that he (1) has to give up parts of his country to Putin , (2) cant join NATO, (3) has to pay back the US for past aid, and (4) there will no new aid. Overnight, Russia launched an attack on Ukrainian energy facilities, damaging power generation, transmission and distribution systems in various regions, including Ukraine's largest hydroelectric power plant, the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant in Zaporizhzhia.

Many towns and cities were partially or completely cut off from electricity.

Seems that Russians not had enough of the terrible disaster at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant last year.

Ukraine needs weapons and air defense against Russian terrorism and genocide.
