I once heard of someone who always took her medicines with Sprite ,Novagyl, to be precise.
She also had sickle cell.

One day, she became very sick and sadly didn’t make it.

Till today, I honestly can’t tell whether it was a sickle cell crisis alone… or whether that habit contributed to what happened.

But here’s something very important most people don’t realize:

Taking medicines with soft drinks is dangerous.

Soft drinks (carbonated or aerated drinks) are acidic in nature.

They can interfere with how medicines work in your body.

In fact:
•They can reduce the effectiveness of many drugs, including antibiotics.

•When mixed with certain medicines, they may increase the risk of side effects or allergic reactions.

•They can also block the absorption of iron ,so if you take iron supplements or iron containing drugs with soft drinks, you’re wasting the medicine.

So if you’re someone who takes medicine with Coke, Sprite, Fanta, or any soft drink just to mask the bitter taste…

The first time the word worship appears in Scripture, there is no music, no choir, no instrument.
It is Abraham.

“And Abraham said… Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship”

and the worship was a journey to Moriah, carrying Isaac.
This establishes the biblical frame for worship.

Worship, before it ever became sound, was posture.

Abraham worshipped by:
Obedience – he went where God pointed

Alignment – he agreed with God’s word even when it cost him

Surrender – he laid down what was most precious

Faith – he believed God beyond understanding

No song.
No atmosphere.
No encouragement.
Just posture.

Worship was not what Abraham sang; it was how he stood before God.

From that moment onward, Scripture teaches us that worship is first a stance, then a sound.

People stood in reverence.
They knelt in surrender.
They lifted hands in dependence.
They fell on their faces in awe.
Each posture preached before any melody followed.

This tells us something crucial:
God responds to alignment before expression.

You can sing loudly and still miss worship.

You can be silent and yet fully worshipping.

True worship is when the heart bows, the will yields, and the body agrees.
Before the song rises, let posture speak.

That is worship.

Nestlé has recalled these baby products.

So before you mix that next bottle for your baby, read this thread carefully as it concerns their well being.

If you feed your baby NAN, SMA, or Alfamino, a toxic bacteria has been found in some batches. And you might have it in your house right now.

You see, Nestlé has issued a massive global recall for several baby formulas (products in the image above) because they found a toxin called Cereulide (from Bacillus cereus bacteria) in some batches.

This toxin causes severe nausea and vomiting in babies. And the scary part is that boiling water does NOT kill it. The toxin is heat-resistant. So even if you prepare the formula correctly, if the powder itself is contaminated, your baby is at risk.

Now, NAFDAC has not released a specific alert for Nigeria yet. BUT our markets are porous. And people import ‘UK SMA’ and ‘Imported NAN’ every single day. So if you buy your formula from supermarkets that stock imported goods, or you bought it abroad, you need to check the last stock to see if your tin look like any of those products.

If yes, go to Nestle’s UK Website (SMA & Alfamino) and Nestle’s MENA Website (NAN) to verify if your batch does not fall under the recalled ones.
