And some institutions instruct that our Nigerian local languages are pidgin, and should not be spoken in the premises. A unifying language for unity is most definitely welcome, but painting our local languages in a bad light is the problem. We can learn all at the same time.

English is literally the average Nigerian's first language, and French is taught as a compulsory foreign language in most schools, yet Nigeria is a profit hub for writing these exams as ESL/ foreign language students.

Someone said your ancestors are evil, refer to their religion derogatorily, but sell you heroic acts of their ancestors as mythical tales.

Eliminate history of your culture and society from the curriculum, yet ensure you learn laws and histories of them from centuries before.

You are afraid of knowing the history that defines you. Yet you can chant all the quotes from mythology movies. Because you think they've been translated to English and they're harmless 🤣🤣. That's why countries and the entire continent repeats mistakes.

Mediators between the spirit world and human world, have you tried being a spiritual leader (imams and pastors)?

They were orators, singers, dancers, hunters, excellent farmers, artisans, craftsmen, and made the foundation for the technology we are building on today.

If they were iron smiths, have you tried engineering?

If they were herbalists, have you tried medical sciences?

If they were hoarders, have you tried being a collector?

Thrift collectors, have you studied accounting and auditing?

If your grandparents were successful business people, you should get an entrepreneur clue from there.

If they were royalty advisers, and their advice helped in conquest and victories, why are you not in diplomacy, military intelligence, strategy and consulting?

Some of you have ancestors had expertise, and it became a family legacy. That should tell you, you have it in you, and you can channel your energy towards working in that path to the Glory of God.

But NO, everything from your grandparents upwards are evil.

Because someone somewhere has said the demons from your father's house are chasing you, you avoid the topic altogether, and attribute everything bad in your life to your ancestors.

Some of you do not know the feats your forefathers achieved, neither are you aware of their failures and mistakes. You are unable to trace patterns to know if you're having a trait issue and how to solve it, or why you behave the way you do.
