In order to summarily deport asylum seekers without addressing their protection claims trashing our country further by following Putin’s Russia out of the ECHR is not enough. Just as Brexit was not enough.

You’d have to also abandon the UN Refugee Convention, the Convention Against Torture, the Convention for the Elimination of Trafficking, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, just for a start.

The Tories are proposing (as are Reform of course) to make us a state outside the bounds of international law. This needs to be clarified.
