another reminder to work hard, wake up early, jump buses & give your all at work. that company where you are doing 9-5 has big plans for you, far more than you can imagine…. you won’t hear it now, they will tell it to you when you are about to suddenly resign.
I once asked a high-performer why they stayed with their company for 10 years.
I expected them to say "the salary" or "the bonuses options."
Instead, they said:
"A few years ago, I had a family emergency. My manager didn't ask for a doctor's note. They didn't check my performance. They just said: 'Take care of your family, we’ve got your back.'"
Retention isn't a "perk." It's a feeling.
If you want to keep your best people in 2026, stop looking at them as "resources" and start looking at them as humans.
Perks like free snacks and fancy offices are great, but psychological safety is what keeps the lights on.
We are not hiring experts🏄♂️
We only hire people who are crazy enough to keep asking themselves “how hard can it be” and learn anything that comes along the way

just apologize to your partner when you know you messed up bruh… all that manipulative behavior and getting mad at them for being upset when they have a valid reason is just weird. people love to say they’re grown until it’s time to take accountability.
Life gets easier when you stop taking things personally. Decenter yourself. It’s not always about you or what you did or didn’t do.
People are just who they are.
Being skinny is way worse than being fat
Dem go assume say you poor
Dem go assume say you sick
Dem go assume say you be junkie
Dem go assume say you no dey chop well
Nigerians have pricing problem and it’s saddening. You know the banana you are selling is 800 Naira max but when people ask “how much?” You start your price from 3500, so they can haggle.
Haggle what? Where do I start from?
A lot of you are mad and I am not hiding to say it.
