What is the Lord Mayor’s Show?
The Lord Mayor’s Show is the oldest, longest, and most-rehearsed civic procession in the world. It dates back to the early 13th century, when King John, desperate for support, granted the City of London the right to appoint its own Mayor.

Highlights from the YOU London float at the Lady Mayor’s Show on Saturday 8 November 2025. Over 80 young people represented the 11 uniformed services, proudly waving the flags of their organisations and showcasing cooperation, leadership, dedication, and community spirit.
We were also honoured to hear from our guest speakers Huey Mensa, firefighter and former police cadet, the Lord Lieutenant Sir Kenneth Olisa, Sarah Jones MP and Mark Dean, Director of Operations at Trinity School.
We’re all set for the Lady Mayor’s Show! Look out for our new flags as we proudly take part as serial 38. Give us a big cheer as we pass by! #LadyMayorsShow
The parade is a long-standing tradition that celebrates service, community and civic pride across the City. It was a brilliant day and a historic occasion for everyone involved.
