@CTFCofficial@littlejetco Technically very good, mentality just wasn’t good enough unfortunately.
Multiple occasions where he shirked tackles. Hope he does well for you.
@LincolnMariner Do your research. We’ve been very well backed for a long time now.
Our owners and president are both hundreds of millions each in their own right.
@Placebob2 Closer to home, better wages, arguably bigger club.
Just for clarity, you want him to turn that down so he can commute 3 hours plus for less wages to play for you??
Come on guys! Give you head a wobble.
@Placebob2@codalmighty We have very wealthy owners and our club president also has a few quid 😉
I can’t imagine many teams in L2 can pay what we can.
I’m sure you will get a decent replacement and have a good season.
@theawayfans The honest answer is that the game is so different now, it’s a pretty much a different sport.
Impossible to compare eras.
I can say that the 1996 side were far more entertaining and enjoyable to watch! They captured the whole nation.
@th55309464 I should caveat that by saying that they are the best owners we’ve ever had, and we are bloody lucky to have them.
We probably wouldn’t have a Club at all now without them. Certainly not in the form we all know it.
@th55309464 My worry is that the core reason they bought the football is due to community reasons. They will never prioritise the football side of it.
I hope one day the penny drops and they realise if you win on the pitch, you win off it.
Unfortunately, I don’t feel we are there yet.
@roberts1876@ANDYPVFC Out of all the managers we’ve ever had in our entire existence……how many have had an automatic promotion with us?!
A very small percentage I’d be willing to wager.
FWIW, it was a fierce critic of him btw, but facts are facts.
